The TJ Finn building on Gaskill St Canowindra, is certainly worthy of the Iconic label. The first section of the building was built in 1887 by Thomas Joseph Finn (1850-1941). it was a General Store with residence. An Advert in 1939 read: "Always noted for best quality goods at prices that satisfy. For all your Drapery, Mercery, Boots and Shoes, crockery, Groceries and Hardware."
Today that Finns building houses Finns Store - a cafe with fine goods. Make sure you check it out when visiting town.
