The Royal Hotel – Iconic Building of Canowindra
The Royal Hotel is the third hotel to be built in this location. The current building replaced the previous in 1910-11. The Original Canowindra Inn saw name changes and when it was under the name of Robinson’s Hotel was made famous by the 1963 raids of Bushranger Ben Hall and gang. Although the building is a challenge to maintain it is still functions as a local watering hole in Canowindra. Live music and good pub meals make The Royal a great venue to visit.
